Brent Orr

A lifelong North Carolinian, Brent is a 35 year career combat veteran with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

While at UNCW in Wilmington, he met and married his wife Erin. After six years of enlisted service, Brent branch qualified as an Aviation Officer.

After serving as a platoon, company and battalion commander, he worked his way up to Director of Aviation. He then took a regimental command, served as the J3, and culminated his career as Chief of Joint Staff.

Brent has two graduate degrees and over a decade of non-profit board experience. He is a life member of the American Legion and VFW.

Brent, Erin, and their daughter Riley live in Cary, NC, while their son is a deployed Soldier.

Brent's late father was a retired Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran; his Father-in-Law a retired Coast Guard Captain and Vietnam Veteran; and his grandfather was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran.
