Paul Pierce

A native of Kentucky, Paul has been living in North Carolina since 1999. Paul retired from Army active duty at Ft. Bragg, NC in 2003 as a Chief Warrant Officer Four. His civilian education includes a Master of Forensic Science Degree from the George Washington University, a Fellowship with the Armed Forces Medical Examiner’s Office, Graduate of the FBI National Academy; Graduate of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police College; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University, and an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Western Kentucky University.
His 23 year military career as a Special Agent with the US Army Criminal Investigation Command was highlighted by participating in Operation Enduring Freedom; Kandahar, Afghanistan; Operation Joint Endeavor/Guard; Bosnia and Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia and being awarded the Order of the Marechausee in Silver from the Military Police Regimental Association.
Paul has served as a board member for the Post Exchange and Commissary Advisory Committees, Child Advocacy and Juvenile Disciplinary Boards, and the Community Commander's Advisory Committee for the Military Communities he was assigned to during his time on active duty. He also served as a board member for the Fuquay Varina Rotary Club, Wake County Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and as the Board President of the Park at West Lake Homeowners Association.
For the past 19 years Paul has been employed as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer with Food and Drug Administration, Office of Criminal Investigations. He and his wife Teresa, live in Fuquay Varina, NC with their two Bichons, Bodhi and Blaise.
